Initial setup ensures that attendance data flows into the correct structure from day one, covering the organization’s identity, user data, work units, locations, and the basic rules that determine attendance status.
Organization Data
Complete the organization profile before users start recording attendance.
- Organization name.
- Address and time zone.
- Internal support contact.
- User identity format.
User Data
Add the users who will record their attendance. Make sure each account has an identity that can easily be matched with your internal records.
- Full name.
- Username, employee ID (NIP), student ID (NIS), or another identification number.
- Unit, class, division, or branch.
- Active or inactive account status.
Units and Groups
Use units to read reports according to the organization’s structure, such as classes, study groups, divisions, branches, or field teams.
Attendance Locations
If your organization uses location validation, set up location points with a reasonable radius. A radius that is too narrow can cause check-ins to fail, because location accuracy varies between users’ devices.
Basic Rules
Start by defining the rules you will use most often.
- Check-in and check-out times.
- Late arrival tolerance.
- Early departure rules.
- Photo, location, or note requirements.
